Go straight to the pictures (Warning: a lot of fish pictures)

I did another diving trip to Cabo Pulmo, Mexico.  I went with travel buddies kumi, Claire and a few new people: Adam, John and Mimi.  Although we had new people, we did our same routine:
  • Meet at the Corona Sports Bar outside terminal 2
  • Take shuttle to Soriana to do some shopping
  • Leave Soriana early enough so we can get to Cabo Pulmo before sundown
We stayed at Baja Bungalows again.

Cabo Pulmo has changed a bit since the last time I was there.  There are a few new buildings, a few new businesses, and a few more houses.  A few of the restaurants have made some improvements/modifications.  I linked a few of the pictures back to how a spot looked in  2014.

Most of my pictures are from diving.  We dove with Manuela of Blue Passion Baja this time.  I did 12 dives.  The lowest of anyone in the group.  I had a good time..


Things of note about this trip:

  • The road to Cabo Pulmo hasn’t improved much.  Small cars can make it (in good weather) but I still recommend at least an all wheel drive vehicle.
  • A few more places are accepting credit cards in Cabo Pulmo, but still bring cash.  Dollars are accepted, but pesos are better.  There aren't any ATMs.
  • Internet access is not good.  Have a good international mobile data plan.
